What is Awana?
Discipleship Program for children 4 years old through 5th grade

Awana is our Wednesday night discipleship program designed for children ages 4 through 5th grade. Derived from 2 Timothy 2:15, "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed," our mission is to help children present themselves to God as approved, handling the word of truth with confidence. Through large group teachings, scripture memorization in small groups, and energetic games, Awana encourages spiritual growth as children come to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ.

Check-in/out Process
Awana begins at 6:30 pm. Please allow 5-10 minutes for check-in.

Check-In:

For online registrants, the self-check kiosk in the lobby streamlines the process. If not registered online, our friendly staff will guide you through the check-in at the front. Your child receives a unique name tag, with a matching tag for you to hold onto.

During Awana:

In case of the need to contact you during the program, we will use the emergency contact number provided during registration.

 Check-Out:

After Awana concludes, head to the check-in counter, show your tag to the volunteer, and your child will be released back to you.

Safety at Springview
Your child's safety is our top priority. We've implemented thoughtful procedures to ensure a secure environment at SCC.

- Our check-in/out system guarantees children are where they belong.

- Our dedicated volunteers undergo voluntary background checks.

- Our children's facilities are regularly cleaned, safe, and disinfected.

- Sanitizing stations are available for volunteers and kids before and after Awana.

What Does Awana Cost?

Thanks to the generous giving of our community, Awana is offered at SCC free of charge to all participating kiddos. It's a vital ministry, and we're grateful for the support that makes it accessible to everyone.
